We are sad to announce that in conjunction with IDP IELTS Australia, NETC has taken the decision to suspend IELTS testing at our Sydney test centre for up to a year due to the current low number of candidates onshore following the impact of the COVID pandemic.
The last test date was on Saturday 23rd July, and the test centre will not be offering any more test dates for the foreseeable future.
We hope to re-commence IELTS testing in the second half of 2023.
We would like to thank every candidate who tested with us for their ongoing support over the many years we have been delivering IELTS tests.
NETC Sydney continues to follow the health directives issued by the NSW Government.

There is also no requirement to show vaccination status at NETC Sydney.
However, NETC currently continues to encourage both mask wearing and checking in using QR codes, along with vaccination, as effective ways in which we can do our utmost in terms of infection control during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our top priority is the health and safety of all candidates and staff.
We have introduced health precautions in the test centre on test day in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic. These precautions will mean some test day processes will be different than previously and will likely make the test day experience slightly longer for you; for example entry to and exit from test rooms will be staggered so that we can maintain appropriate physical distancing between all people.
We thank you in advance for working with us as we follow the advice of the Australian Federal and State Government health authorities to ensure a safe test environment for all.
If any of the above apply, please contact the test partner directly as soon as possible so that they can assist with your test enrolment.
If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 less than 14 days after you took your test, you are requested to report this to the test centre by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. This will help ensure we can communicate with other test takers and follow government advice.
