TOEFL iBT® (internet-based test) is taken at a secure test centre, where you will need to show your ID, check in with the test administrator, and sit your test in a secure room. You will have to:
Please arrive at the test centre 30 minutes early. If you’re late, you will not be able to take the test.
The entire test is given in half a day, unlike other tests that make you stay the full day or come back a second day. Total length of the test is 4 hours.
You will need to show an ETS-approved form of identification that contains a photograph and signature. To see what valid identification you can bring, click here. If you are not testing in your country of citizenship, your ID must be a valid passport.
If you do not bring valid and acceptable ID, or if the name on your ID does not exactly match the name on your registration, you will not be permitted to test and your test fee will not be refunded. To learn more about identification requirements visit TOEFL®.
Navitas English Test Centre (NETC) will provide a locker to store your belongings for the duration of your TOEFL iBT® test; however, NETC is not responsible for any loss or damages. We highly recommend leaving valuables at home.
